Bill Maher - Irritable Bowl Syndrome
Golden motion piece about the USA and the USA… oh and football
MPC’s (http://www.moving-picture.com/) Ralph Lauren 4D projection event was last night in London and NYC. I wish I had been able to get out and see this one as it always blows my mind when you get to see something like this for real. The reactions of the crowd and the sheer delight in peoples faces as they see the beautiful stuff that vfx can do.
MPC have again cemented themselves as one of my favourite houses of all time…
MPC worked with Drive and UVA to create the stunning 4D projection.
The video has a small break down (very small) but I am sure MPC will have their own version of this online soon.

I cant explain how amazing this is….
Logorama…
It should be a full series…
AGF Pianos @ Eastern Oregon Film Festival (http://www.eofilmfest.com/films.html)

Golden…
Thanks Colin Sebestyen (http://www.movecraft.com) for dropping this one in for us.
I am hypnotized by how beautiful this video is…
Auguste and Louis Lumière’s Vue Lumière No 765 - Loie Fuller’s Serpentine Dance.
Some effects are done to move a story, some are for beauty and some are to push the art form. Each have their moments, but it is amazing that something from 1902 can make a portly fella in 2010 get so inspired. Everytime I find something like this I want to lock myself in a room and work on some magical project that will excite the world.
Enjoy…
The latest project from WESTERNIZED PRODUCTIONS (http://westernizedproductions.com/motion).
Skycaddie is a pocket caddie and lets you know distances and stuff that I dont really understand cause i dont play golf.
I worked on at least 3 of these shots and loved every moment. The VFX in this is really subtle, there are live set extensions, clean plates, camera projection, roto (of course), 3d modeling/lighting/rendering and beautiful graphics.
It was fun cause i got to work with some golden people on this like the Grande Brothers (http://westernizedproductions.com), Marco Salsiccia (http://www.marconius.com/), Christian Castaneda (http://castanedafx.com/) and the rest of the team at WESTERNIZED.
Enjoy…
2010 Honda Accord Crosstour’s new commercial are visual candy….
