Tonight I will be interviewing Bill Guttentag at 550 Bryant St San Francisco for the Producers Guild of America.
Bill Guttentag is a two-time Oscar-winning feature film and documentary writer-producer-director. His most recent film Knife Fight stars Rob Lowe, Jamie Chung, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Julie Bowen, and will be released this Autumn.
His other films include Live!, which he wrote and directed, starring Eva Mendes and Andre Braugher, and the documentary features Nanking and Soundtrack for a Revolution. He was an executive producer and creator (along with Dick Wolf) of the series Law & Order: Crime & Punishment, which ran for three seasons on NBC. He has received three additional Academy Award nominations, a Peabody Award, two WGA Award nominations, and three Emmy Awards. His first novel, Boulevard was published in 2010 by Pegasus Books/W.W. Norton.
